I remember going on my best friend's bachelor weekend about 4 years ago. We went to a club in Atlantic City (I hate, hate, HATE clubs, but that's where the party was going for the night). A bachelorette party also happened to be there. I was standing off to the side of the dance floor, just kind of bored, when the bride-to-be, who was quite gorgeous, grabbed my hand and pulled me onto the floor and immediately began to grind herself on me. I backed up and pointed to my wedding ring and said "No, I'm married. I don't want to be grinding with other women." She pointed to her engagement ring and said "I'm engaged! It's not a big deal!" I said no thank you, and walked away. However, because I turned the bride down, the rest of the bachelorette party smelled blood in the water and all but one made it their mission to wear me down and get me to grind with one of them. The one who didn't was the smoking hot maid of honor. She tried a different tactic, acting like the rational, voice of reason compared to the rest of the drunk bridesmaids. She came up and stood REALLY close next to me and told me that it was really sweet that I loved my wife that much, but that she said I could lighten up and not worry so much because everyone was just having fun. She was still flirting heavily: Smiling, batting her eyes, biting her lip, etc. I don't think she was trying to get me to cheat, but she obviously wanted me to want to.

That gold band is an aphrodisiac! To women who are NOT my wife that is...

The "I want what she has in her back yard" syndrome is very real. Sometimes I'm awed by it. Women I see who have literally been given everything willing to flush it all for what is on the other side of the fence. And I don't just mean "stuff", I men women who are willing to **** over the lives of everyone who loves them, their own kids who supposedly they love more than the world and stuff like that.

Now I have a severe fondness for "hot chicks" but I've already turned down more than a few simply because "you aren't hot enough to **** over my own life for." And if Anna Kornikova in her prime came up to me and said "I'm all yours...all you have to do is kill your dog", well I wouldn't be getting Anna. In fact I wouldn't want Anna after that for even suggesting the idea.

I missed out on more than a few girls in my life as a single simply because I spend too much time making sure the math would work. Ironically the fact that I was often a cautious shopper saved me in the end.

Simple test... someone willing to cheat WITH you is willing to cheat ON you--more broadly, the leopard doesn't change its spots; a safe bet that what they're trying to do now they've done before and will again, leaving a trail of broken homes and destroyed lives in the bitch's wake.

Sorta surprised she didn't repay your rejection with accusations that you already did cheat with her. That's the usual SOP.

Another one I've seen, because I try and learn from others, if you do start a new relationship while still in a relationship then your new gf/wife will forever suspect you of doing it again and frequently accuse you of the same. More than once I've told good friends "wait until their divorce is FINAL before you do anything serious" usually it went unheeded and so far in every case didn't end well.

Divorces are expensive and why is the woman eligible to have half your retirement, that you worked for, just because you've been married for ten years. Why would I have to pay for here lifestyle after leaving me? She can find a new sucker. Either wait a while to get married and date long enough to find out if there is some crazy buried down in there or just stay single and date around.

Once you marry one, they become a huge PITA." I asked him what did all 5 marriages have in common? He replied "I sure as hell don't know." I did not bother pointing out he was the common factor.

Also good advice for either sex, although I would say that his lack off self awareness is more damning than having 5 divorces (holy shit). Relationships fail for a lot of reasons… some people do better next time, some don’t. Getting it right the first time is great, but unlikely.
