I have a 7.5" and 8.5" in 300BLk, and used to have a 10". I think one of the benefits of 300 BLK is the ability to run a barrel shorter than 10" and keep good ballistics.
My 8.5" is always suppressed, and my 7.5" is more of a PDW type setup, so i run it unsuppressed. Both have been hammers. I think 8.5" is the sweet spot personally.
