The Centurion Arms is the only one that comes with a CHF barrel, is the main thing I notice. Weight-wise, it would sit between the Sionics (which is nitrided but the lightest) and the BCM (chrome-lined, but not CHF, and the heaviest).
Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose.

One of my BCMs is BHF and all my SIONICS are chrome-lined. YMMV

I have all of them. All 3 are a win.

In my experience, Centurion and Sionics have fantastic customer service. They are like dealing with the local mom and pops store that really cares for its customer.

That is very true, both have excellent CS.

I have a BCM recce16 with the magnesium KMR rail. Love that gun. I think they are great value for a top tier AR that doesn't break the bank, or need a single part changed.

Had a "jack" BCM that never had issues in the +/- 5k rds I shot in various classes/ranges, gave to my nephew as gift. He put about 7k rds through it before he cleaned it, never failed. So, BCM gets my vote.

I’d pick whichever one I could get the configuration I want - tapered profile barrel and seven sided MLOK rail, so likely BCM. Those two are huge on my list for ergonomics and I doubt that’ll ever change.

My son is overseas so there is no huge rush. I will buy it and sell it to him when he returns.

Not a straw purchase, all laws followed etc, ATF guy

He wants to get ahead of a future AWB II, and not wait for months after he returns stateside.

I personally would buy a Sionics Patrol Rifle 3 with a medium contour barrel and two stage trigger, but its not my rifle.

    Andy,

I've owned Sionics ARs with their med-con and lightweight barrel. Both were great no drama guns.

I currently own a handful of BCM 16" ELWs and am very pleased with them. Zero issues.

I prefer the BCM rail shape and finish, and the ELW barrels handle very well.

    No experience with Centurion.

I don't think you can go wrong with either, but I simply prefer BCM at this point.
