Was pretty good, especially for a show in the Sci Fi channel and later seasons had Traci Lords so of course I checked it out.
It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.

    Chuck, we miss ya man.

I've never watched it either but thought it look interesting. Did they end it well or was it a Battlestar Galactica 1.0 ending?
The simple fact of the matter is this, America has never not been great.

Nothing was as bad as the "we ran out of money so rewrite the last episode" Battlestar. I'm 90% they left it open with the belief that they might get another season next year if not this year.

Jericho is one that really had potential and the second season was so rushed. It really sucked the way it was completed so quickly.

If you try to compare it to anything that we consider great modern television, you'll be disappointed.
That show and the Highlander series. I watched a few episodes of HL recently and couldn’t believe I loved it as much as I did back then.

    “Colony”

Pretty accurate depiction of what I think the future will be like. A one-world government leveraging a fake or collusive alien invasion to implement a totalitarian technocracy and depopulate the majority of the earth. Oh, and don’t forget the Alien Religion angle.

I was never into Highlander but one show for me that fits your statement of "I watched a few episodes recently and couldn't believe I loved it as much as I did back then" is Renegade. A few years ago it was available on one of the streaming services and I think I gave up rewatching it after episode two. The show's creator Stephen J. Cannell had some shows that have stood the test of time like The Rockford Files, and a bunch that don't.
