    M&P 1.0 Question

I have an M&P9 1.0 and 2 slides. 1 with RMR and 1 with OEM Night sights.

WILL an M&P40 1.0 slide work on my M&P9 1.0 Frame and eject properly?

I can PU a M&P40 1.0 minus barrel for a good price, then find a decent OEM or aftermarket barrel.

This is all FS 4.25" barrels. I also know I would need magazines.

    Thanks

Yep, everything interchanges fine (including between 9, 40, and 357…possibly 45 but I’ve never owned one to confirm).

The .45 does not interchange with the 9/.40/.357 frame. The .45 frame is larger, wider, use larger magazine.

Is the ejector in the same position on the 9mm and .40 frame? Is the cut out for the ejector on the slide the same?

You can swap complete .40 and 9mm slide assemblies. I had an M&P .40 that I shot 9mm with a different slide assembly and magazines. As I recall, the recoil springs are the same as well. And then between .40 and .357, it’s only a barrel swap.

The recoils are different, They are color coded. I could be mixing them up, but i think 40 is green and the 9mm is blue, I remember seeing red, but that might be a compact.

You’re right, my memory is failing. The .40 recoil assy is 394580000 while the 9 is 279740000. They’re different part numbers.

Well I blowed that thought out of the water. I found a NIB Glock 20 Gen 4 for a price I'm happy with. No 675, 850 or 1 thousand G20's for ME.
According to the tracking info it should reach my local gun shop this Saturday. Need 3 things, sights, trigger or trigger shoe and extended bullet slide lock/release to be like my G21 Gen 4. The G20 even comes with 3, 15 round magazines and it's not a Blue Label Gun.
If I get it Saturday, I will pop some photos up on the Pistol Pics. Maybe I'll add some pics of my G48 MOS and 43x MOS with Holosun 407K X2 on both.
Thank You all for the info posted above.

MAYBE a 357 Sig conversion barrel will be needed for the G20 and Since 40 S&W is more in stock at somewhat tolerable prices, maybe a 40 S&W barrel too.

My friend said I need a KKM barrel with a Comp. He likes his.
