    Gas Leak, FSB. Re-Pin? New?

    Guys,

Ran my AR yesterday, had several FTF, FTE. Went through all the typical stuff. Mag changes, ammo swap, bolts, spring, buffers, cleaning, etc...

One thing that remained constant was my upper.

I notice today as I clean it, I have a good amout of carbon built up around my A2 FSB. The pins look decent, etc..I am sure this a problem if not THE problem. I dont notice any play in it when I vise it and grab.

Should I pop the pins out and take a look? Cracks? Movement? ETC?

If I do end up replacing it, I am thinking a YHM flip up or Armalite flip up...It is a heavy bbl.

Thoughts? If I do replace it, I will get a low pro with just a block and put the new front sight on my rail.

    I'll post some pics.

Sounds normal to me. It would have to be HUGE leak to cause a problem.
