    Tyler T Grips

I sent off an order back in February for a J frame and the check was cashed in March…hopped on their website about a month back and saw they were claiming to be running a 4-6 week lead time so I text the number on the website as suggested and got no response. Waited a week and tried again - no response. Called the following week and got no response. You can make a great product but if your customer service is non-existent it’s hard to recommend.

Anyone ordered from Tyler this year? I’m hoping it’s a fluke and they’ll show…eventually…

Couple years ago it took 6 months on couple T Grips.
Seems this has become SOP since the old guy passed several years back.
A true "Gun Guy" (or gal) should have familiarity and a modicum of proficiency with most all firearms platforms.

I just picked up a vintage unit with a $3.95 price tag on the box. Thanks for the heads up, I was planning to pick up a new one, so I guess I won't be in a hurry for it.

Yes. 13 months with zero communication.

BK grips might be an option for you.

They make a similar product that receives excellent reviews on both the product and their customer service / shipping.

It is polymer. Not a problem for performance, however, it is a completely different aesthetic if you are trying for a classic look.

The good news is that I'm confident the OP will get his order. The bad news is that Tyler's customer service is so bad. The worst part is that people just keep putting up with it. I guess it is a testament to their product.

I’ve had good luck with the BK grip adaptors, reasonable price and fast shipping.

Thanks for the recommendations for BK - I hadn’t ever heard of them but after hopping on their site and reading through it I ordered a grip for the J frame. Though there’s certainly no way I could cancel the Tyler order with their lack of communication, at least I can support a company who at least seems to want the business.
