    Tyler T Grips

I sent off an order back in February for a J frame and the check was cashed in March…hopped on their website about a month back and saw they were claiming to be running a 4-6 week lead time so I text the number on the website as suggested and got no response. Waited a week and tried again - no response. Called the following week and got no response. You can make a great product but if your customer service is non-existent it’s hard to recommend.

Anyone ordered from Tyler this year? I’m hoping it’s a fluke and they’ll show…eventually…

Couple years ago it took 6 months on couple T Grips.
Seems this has become SOP since the old guy passed several years back.
A true "Gun Guy" (or gal) should have familiarity and a modicum of proficiency with most all firearms platforms.

I just picked up a vintage unit with a $3.95 price tag on the box. Thanks for the heads up, I was planning to pick up a new one, so I guess I won't be in a hurry for it.

Yes. 13 months with zero communication.

BK grips might be an option for you.

They make a similar product that receives excellent reviews on both the product and their customer service / shipping.

It is polymer. Not a problem for performance, however, it is a completely different aesthetic if you are trying for a classic look.

Good God, who's running the operation now, Jon Ciener?

Boy, I did not think I'd ever be updating this thread.

My J-frame T-grip showed up in the last few days, one year and seven months after mailing off the order form and check. Fortunately the USPS still had our address change on file. It included a form letter that says the order had been "successfully located and processed" and they "apologize for the extended delay."

Putting them side by side, the T-grip and BK grip I ended up sourcing above are almost identical, with the BK having two set of shallower copper tabs as opposed to the single longer set of the T Grip. Both fit my particular J frame well.

No way I would recommend anyone order a T grip at this point. The absurd delivery time, flat lie on the website of "4-6 weeks" lead, and complete lack of communication are unacceptable.
