    EDC a 1911

Does anyone on here routinely carry a 1911? If so, what belt/holster setup do you use?

Standard leather western belt with an El Paso high slide. OWB with an untucked shirt. 3" Springer micro compact.
High speed floor buffer operator. For that low drag shine.

When I was young and stupid, mine (5" Essex mixmaster) was an Uncle Mike's IWB. The suit jacket over it helped a lot...
You really have to ask why Conservatives have guns? Because Liberals block freeways, burn cities, throw Molotov cocktails, loot, turn over cop cars, and think this behavior is Socially Acceptable.

When I carry one of my 38 Super 1911's, it's usually in a Crossbreed Super tuck IWB. For OWB I use a T-Rex "Ragnarok".

For IWB, I mostly use a CrossBreed SuperTuck. Occasionally, Iíll use a Milt Sparks VM2.

For OWB, I use an R Grizzle GS2, or a Milt Sparks 55BN.

Iíve worn Milt Sparks belts for many years, but I recently bought a Kore Essentials reinforced nylon belt, and like it much more than expected.

If you like the wide-spread style of IWB, the Milt Sparks VM2 was always my favorite. I have a Milt Sparks belt that I have been wearing for a LONG time. It may have started shrinking since I retired.

    When I did (EDC a 1911) I used a Comp-Tac IWB, and a Blade-Tech OWB.

I currently have two Milt 55BN’s, but I believe it’s my belt that is lacking. I prefer leather and have yet to find the medium between too soft and plyable and bending solid steel around my waist.
