The CS were hard to find 20 years ago. Might find them via estate sale by now.

I would ask where Miami_JBT found a complete assembly for $49.99 but it seems he's being coy.

DSH Firearms in Tallahassee, FL. They're closed and out of business.

Last time I saw one was $225(I think that was with plate, door, loop, and screws) so the UBR is a cost effective option.

Thanks. I misunderstood. I thought "They sure are hard to find" was sarcastic and you were saying they were a dime a dozen with the photo as proof.

No, I lucked out and found mine there for that price. They aren't a dime a dozen but they are easy to find if you're willing to pay the price for 'em.

A little help here, please? I thought the Magpul fixed carbine stock was a good bit shorter than an A1 stock and the fixed rifle stock was longer (basically an A2 length stock). This thread has me wondering if either of those beliefs are correct. Guess I have some research to do.

I have a Magpul rifle stock and itís length is a bit shorter than an A2. I donít have an A1 for comparison, but Iíve read that itís a. It longer than an A1.
