Looking for trilug barrel recommendations? In Lead We Trust?

Looking to build a PCC with a trilug barrel for a Rugged Obsidian. In lead We Trust offers a couple short barrels for different weapons with trilug but reviews are mixed. Anybody here have any experience with them? Looking to tuck a 3" trilug barrel inside a handguard on a Scorpion or maybe a PTR MP5 clone. The quality of the ILWT barrel will push it one way or the other.

TROS made (don't know if he's still going) integral 3 lug AR barrels, but not scorpion or MP5. His were good, but I never got on his wait list. I use thread on 3 lug adapters when I want to use a 3 lug mount. I've got a couple from silencerco and a couple from griffin. Quality is good on both brands of adapters I've run. Got one stuffed deep in the handguard on my 9mm SBR. I've never had a problem using a muzzle device instead of an integral 3 lug.

TROS still makes them. However, I sent payment in early April and I still have not received the barrel. I've emailed a couple of times for an update and he replied that he has had delays for various reasons. He offered to refund my money if I didn't want to wait. I'm not worried about getting hosed. I just hope the barrel is worth the wait. I think it will be.

I bought a 1/2x36 trilug adapter from In Lead We Trust a couple of years ago. I received it promptly and it works just fine.

Surefire are offering a tri-lug adapter now, that might be an option depending on your set-up? I'm going to use one on my 1022 with an "old" MP5 Gemtech Raptor, I had lying around. Cheers

I backordered a 3.5" trilug barrel from ILWT yesterday. They seem to have a pretty devoted following so I imagine the product is good.

OK. I was thinking AR15 pattern. I do have a Stribog, so that is an option.

I went back and forth with a PTR MP5 but I found a 3.5" trilug barrel for the Scorpion and $20 pmags seemed like a plus.
