    I suspect he using the 12ga for non-lethal, the shells on the ground tells me he has used it at least a couple of times. If shit really cracks off he'd bail off his perch and grab his M4 which is probably below the wall and out of sight in the photo.
    Not gonna claim to be an expert, but I've never seen less lethals in red hulls like that. Speculating about a still photo without some context can be a rabbit hole. For all I know he's trying to figure out where that pheasant fell.
