I thought the long slide weighed the same as the regular VP9 so I'm a little surprised recoil was softer, but I believe you. Mine was one of the first so it has the levers for releasing the magazines. If I had known HK was going to make a push button I would of waited for it.

Good to hear. I have the VP9 longslide kit but don't own a VP9 yet...lol. Bought it on a Fathers Day special. Although I do have a VP9SK. Waiting for prices to get a little more fair then I can carry the standard VP9 and change out the Slide kit for range and competition.

Are you considering a Lazy Wolf trigger upgrade?

How are you liking the VP9L. Any accuracy testing? I’ve done a little with my slide kit and it is impressive. As in its turned out some 1” 25m 5 shot groups.

I have not done any accuracy testing but I have shot it in matches and performed well. Maybe I’ll take it out this weekend and test accuracy.

And I really like the gun, it is sweet.

Let me know what you find. I have been very impressed and I am trying to decide between complete VP9L or a Match.

I would go with Long Slide, I checked out the Match but its just a half inch longer and if you put a dot on it, then its a waste. If you run irons you could, I just feel you don't need more than 5 inches of barrel length. That is the only real difference to my recollection. Going to test accuracy tomorrow.

I love the fact that H&K seems to be one of the few manufacturers that sell an RMR Slide so one can upgrade there existing VP9.
