I've got a thread in "other semi" about my Draco rust issue, so not gonna rehash it here. Just wanted to get some feedback from the more experienced NFA crowd.

How important is the manufacturer info (mfr, model, caliber) on the reciever? It's the serial # that really matters correct? Not really a vital question cause I do intend to reuse the reciever, but isn't the front trunnion (with the serial #) really the only critical piece. For example: as long as I don't asshole up the front trunnion can't I press a new barrel in, swap the stamped reciever, or anything else so long as I continue to build around the registered front trunnion?

Just curious. Yeah, I know "You are not lawyers nor are you ATF officials. No opinions offered are statements of legal opinion or regulatory fact..."
