Dr. Angelique Coetzee, National Chair of the South African Medical Association, and also one of those who discovered the Omicron variant early on, called the US’s travel bans “hasty,” as we reported Saturday. Then she told Reuters Sunday that “the hype” that’s been concocted about the variant is not warranted. Coetzee relayed that in one of the “biggest hospitals” in South Africa, only one COVID-positive patient is on a ventilator and that it hasn’t been confirmed that Omicron is the issue:

“The hype that’s been created currently out there in the media and worldwide doesn’t correlate with the clinical picture. And it doesn’t warrant to just cut us off from any traveling, and bans South Africa as if we are the villains in the whole process — should not be like that.”

She explained that based on the mild symptoms they’re seeing, “there’s no reason for panicking, as we don’t see severely ill patients.”

Ze good doctor doesn't get it, does she?

It isn't about anything other than control, the message is this:

"This will kill you, be afraid, do as we say or else, the power of the state is the only thing that can protect you from yourself- put on the face diaper, get the jab, shut the **** up sit the **** down, we know whats best for you idiots...".

Whether the "Omicron" strain is mediocre or vastly dangerous is a moot point, it's the control that can be derived from the message and fear induced by the unknown.

If you look at the headlines without the veil of fear on it's very easy to see the outright laughable propaganda fear porn being spread and to what end it is designed for.

It’s been decades since I’ve taken any classes on this stuff, but my memory says natural viruses in general strive to live abs evolve to become more transmissible and less deadly so they can go forth abs multiply longer. In general. Doesn’t mean a few don’t get that bassackwards and become better killers. If this bastard was engineered or “helped” along then all bets are off.

I certainly hope the trend for more transmissible and less deadly is the case. This whole shit show of political science is bad enough as is. We don’t need an actual serious event with these assclowns in charge.
