That's one of things I've been saying. People have said "move to a red state" or, more dramatically, break up the U.S. so that all the states are their own countries. There are some huge problems with just running, splitting, or not fighting:
1) The problem is not state to state, it's area to area. The rural areas in almost EVERY state are very red, and so are many suburban areas still, though sadly less so. It's mostly the cities and wealthy inner suburbs of cities that are the most leftist.
2) The problem is not that leftists are leaving blue states and flipping red states; the problem is mostly the colleges. Every college, even in the Deep South, is far left. They're kicking brainwashed kids out into red states and turning those states blue. A lot of leftism in purple and flipped-blue states is homegrown.
3) The left doesn't believe in live and let live. They believe in dominate and exterminate the opposition.
There is no way we are going to co-exist with leftism; none. There's only one option: Oppose it by any means necessary. And that means total victory, not defensive fighting. We can't just be happy with trying to hold what we have left; it's about taking ground from them.
