Which BCM barrel for 62gr GDSP - Accuracy

Is there a theoretical difference in accuracy in these BCM barrels running factory Speer Gold Dot Soft Point 62gr?

Range would be out to 300yds.

14.5" Enhanced Medium Weight *Fluted* 1/7

    16" SS410 1/8

Is there another configuration that would be better from BCM?

    Thanks in advance.

No. Pick any bcm and shoot the piss out of it.

The Stainless barrels are supposed to be more of a precision offering but you’re not going to see a marked difference when shooting a gold dot. If you were rolling match kings, sure.
AQ planned for years and sent their A team to carry out the attacks, and on Flight 93 they were thwarted by a pick-up team made up of United Frequent Fliers. Many people look at 9/11 and wonder how we can stop an enemy like that. I look at FL93 and wonder, "How can we lose?". -- FromMyColdDeadHand

Disagree as in my experience Gold Dot gave me match grade accuracy, such as 0.5 moa @100 yards.

    Nice. From what barrel?

Why mess with BCM when a Colt or Centurion will likely be more accurate?

I haven't noticed a difference with 62 gr GD fired from 11.5, 14.5 or 16" BCM hammer-forged barrels, including the 16" lightweight profile. All hovered around 1.5 MOA. I don't recall ever trying those bullets with the 410 SS barrel, though that one is 1/2 MOA with 77 gr. Matchkings

    ^^My experience as well.
From my 14.5" Enhanced Medium Weight/Fluted, I get 1.5 MOA or just under with 64 gr GD.

Interesting. I don't think we've ever tried shooting GDs for accuracy.

I have a good stock of 62gr GDs and am wanting to set up a handy hunting carbine to utilize them.

I ordered a 14.5 EMWF w/ A2X and am going to top it with a Trij Credo HX 1-6. I’ll report once I get it built and tested.

In this case the extra weight of the SS410, and the fact I’m not shooting match ammo, didn’t make as much sense.
