    Fedex mess up

Has Fedex ever messed up with you guys and delivered a gun to your house and not an FFL?

Can’t say that’s ever happened. I’d assume you’d want to give your FFL a heads up.

I did Tgizzard, It was a hassle, and I mean a hassle. They did finally receive it and i did the background check.

Been buying guns since 2003, and this is the first time i ever had one shipped to my house, when it was addressed to an FFL.

How did FedEx get your home address if it was addressed to your FFL?

I can understand the seller messing up and addressing it to you though. But that doesn’t seem to be what you are saying?

I had it happen in MT once. Was not a major deal, I called my ffl, took the unopened package to them, they opened it and logged it in and I signed it out on a 4473.

Pretty much what i had to do. But spent way. To much time between fedex and the shipper. I ended up giving up, leaving work and hand delivered it to the ffl.

I had a mixup once while having a stripped lower sent to the Rod and Gun Club on the base I was stationed at. Package ended up at the main administrative building for the base, buried in a mailing bin. After a few days I walked in to talk to the staff. Some poor E-2 looked very worried and found the box, and tried to hand it over to me on the spot.

They got it down to the club that day and I started the paperwork.

    Sometimes stuff happens.

Just wondering what would happen if you received a gun directly, and didn't take it to an FFL for the 4473 transfer. What ramifications would there be?

I was curious about that, I looked it up. Its a big no no according to the gun laws in place. Accepting a transfer from across state line or something. I read a the law (which I lost the link to). I will try to find it again.
