I might be able to work up something with Strelok+. Is there a particular optic and mount height you're interested in? It'll all be approximate, and based around data I have on hand for KS in 110 degree heat with 70% humidity.

Yes please...for a 14.5 " barrel M4, carry handle sight . I will zero at 50 yds, and never shoot over 200 yds.

Leonidas' data will probably indicate a 50 yard zero is suboptimal if 200 is your maximum range.

EDIT - I drew this false conclusion after running the numbers in a ballistic calculator assuming a 1.5" sight height, incorrect for an AR.

FYI the 50/200 yd zero is bulls*** for any real duty/defensive cartridges. Once you plug in the actual data like real BCs from Bryan Litz and realistic velocities out of 14.5"s or shorter barrels you'll find things are closer to 50/125 or 50/150.

I don’t have a 14.5” barrel, but it makes sense that the far zero would be closer than 200 yards.

Iron sights, 193, 855.... What difference does the zero make if it shoots within a couple of inches of where you aim between 50 and 200 yards? What am I missing here? No way you can squeeze a pigs ear hard enough to get a silk purse.

There are lots of free external ballistics calculators, but none of them will be exact since you haven’t provided actual velocities with all the different ammo options.

To the OP:

If you are shooting with iron sights, zero at 50 and your dead on at 200. With iron's anyways you would never be able to tell if the bullet was 6" high or low much less 1/2".
