What trigger for DPMS style .308 rifle?

Not looking for a fancy $200 trigger, but would like to put something outside of the standard 5.56 CMMG mil spec trigger in there.

Gun will be a range toy.

Larue. Excellent, especially for the price

I'll second the Large. I have a flat face MBT in my PA10 and it's a great trigger for $85. David

Once the MBT-2S was released, it became my standard AR trigger, and I now have at least 8 of them. The first stage is smooth, the wall is distinct, there is no creep in the 2nd stage, the break is glass rod crisp, and overtravel is short.

The preceding sentence can be applied to the AST as well. The AST has the added benefit of a traditionally shaped trigger bow.

They are both nearly indistinguishable from my SSA (aside from the more squared off trigger bow of the MBT).

I received a stripped G lower a couple days ago, so it's going to get the SSA that's currently in a BCM. The BCM is going to get a new AST.

I ordered a 2 stage Schmid trigger. Haven't put the rifle together yet

good choice. that is the centurion arms trigger sans the logo and is also the new aero precision 2 stage. Much cheaper without the logo. I bought one a while back and it's not bad at all.

    Excellent!
If I like it enough, I may order another for one of my 5.56 builds
