Big government can no longer broadcast the fear that they have seeded and used to control a population with covid-19 restrictions or ANY other "national emergency ." Covid 19 is here to stay. It will always be a part of our human existence. How will government control the population once the narrative has passed? They became drunk with power to control their masses. They have dictated on how children shall be raised and educated. They see how fragile our global economy truly is. Melbourne is a product of government going too far in controlling how people choose to live.

From a gun control perspective, it is hard to believe if the agencies in Melbourne would be as aggressive if they knew that their citizens may be legally armed.

From an american perspective, I see that gun control is temporarily waned.I will never let my guard down as the politicians have readily noticed that our fragile global economy ruined the ammunition market. Unprecedented demand from first time gun owners and the usual list of characters combined with Russian products being removed from our available vendors has highlighted an opportunity to impact firearm ownership.

I think when a .gov decides going "All In" on some tyranny, they can't back down or they've lost all respect and authority if they do.
What they need is a dialog or a debate, what they'll get if they don't will be very ugly. I'm a big fan of just showing up on the opositions front door and confronting them.

Mass disobedience is exactly whats called for under such circumstances. If the gov crushes them its bad optics so there has to be some sort of compromise. Basically the masses force the gov to back down but in way they can save face. Mass disobedience puts the ball in the people court if they don't back down.

The irony of the whole situation is that Hitler was inspired by America’s eugenics movement perpetrated by the democrats. Democrats literally inspired Hitler.

So why aren't these folks taking these protests to the front doors of the residences of the asshats-in-charge of their .gov, the ones who're responsible for the mess?
