Jeebus! I THOUGHT MY PENIS COULD GET ONLY SO ERECT!

I think it's only been five or ten years ago where the Air Force said re-engining BUFFs would be a waste of engineering dollars.

    Pffft.

The things you learn. I seriously believed that once the stealths were online that replaced B-52 and ICBMs took up the rest of the slack. I thought AC-130s were the oldest thing still flying.

So is the B-52 the largest plane we currently have flying?
Actually the current iteration of the AC-130 (J) is just about brand new. Even the airframes are newer airframes.

It is just astonishing that the plan will keep these things flying 100 years after the original inception and test flights.

The Russian is still flying the TU 95 props. So both sides still believe in their old war trucks.

Riots are like sports, it's better to watch it on TV at home.

Actually the Bear is a turboprop not a recip; worth noting that it and the B-52 both started from an identical spec for a design contract at the same time: both the Pentagon and the Kremlin contracting with their best bomber designers for a swept-wing, turboprop B-29 derivative except that the Russians were more studious about adhering to the original design concept while Boeing Model 464 was allowed to organically develop into something that left its WWII roots fully in the rearview.
