Need A Lazy Dude Holster For A Sig...

Right now my daily carry is a Serpa. It goes on and off with my wallet and keys and without pulling a belt, so that keeps me taking it with me all the time. Basically if I have pants I have a Sig.

Problem is I'm getting more and more lazy and if I'm wearing sweats around the house I have to put pants on even if I'm just running to the store for milk. Can't really put a paddle holster on an elastic waistband with no belt...I tried...it doesn't fly.

In an effort to retain my lazy dude posture I'm almost ready to roll a discrete carry case (laptop size) with a MP5k-PDW but the down side is it doesn't draw as quickly and it's kinda heavy and sorta like carrying a purse. I would also like to stay with the more portable handgun.

I simply can't go back to fanny pack carry. Would love to do chest carry with a holster suspended by a shoulder strap but I feel that would get extra, extra looks at the checkout counter and might ping local LE who see a serpa on a belt and don't even bother to ask.

I carry a full size 226 so belly bands and all of that stuff is out. I could hang a paddle holster on a military web belt but matched with sweats it's gonna stand out and draw attention.

I could do a shoulder holster rig but again it stands out, I did it for awhile but it's not very low key.

Besides stop being so lazy and put on some grown up pants...are there any options I'm missing?

As far as options you didn't directly mention, you do have the option of switching to an IWB holster with a lighter/smaller weapon. I use the p365xl for this purpose.

I'm not trying to move to anything smaller.

You could still try rocking an IWB holster.

Full size 226 is gonna pull them down, I've tried it. Right now I'm at gun purse or a black web belt over sweats to hold up a paddle mag holster.

Maybe instead of sweats, find super comfy pants with belt loops and use a strong but stretchy belt to hold up IWB clip holster. I do similar with shorts and allows for comfy lazing around the house and couch and shifting your piece from waist to next to you depending on position. Definitely more comfy than a full belt going out setup.

I carry a G43 in a black point dualpoint holster. I took the belt loops off and the metal clip is more than enough to secure it to gym shorts. This is the rig I wear while out fishing. I also carry on right hip, not AIWB. https://blackpointtactical.com/shop/...-aiwb-holster/

Maybe something like this? Perhaps it would handle a full-sized sidearm better than a belly band.

It doesn’t look like something one would want to use for regular EDC but it might work for the occasional lazy dude trip to the store.

I’ve run into a similar carry dilemma for when I’m around the house and not wearing pants with a belt. Although any time I go out in public I still wear actual pants because I haven’t totally “given up” just yet, haha.

Provided you are comfortable with AIWB the PHLSTER Enigma is exactly what you are searching for. Don’t waste your time with anything else.

This, plus one of their holsters, or a JM Custom, Dark Star, etc. will do everything you are looking for.

Lounging in sweats? Yes. Concealed under tucked in shirts in a non-permissive job environment? Yes. Trail running, burpees, pull-ups, etc.? Yes. Ask me how I know all of this.

The system works entirely independently of your wardrobe and *stays in place.*. You could technically carry a gun in the buff if you were so inclined, though that would probably catch the eye of LE when you run to the store.

I'm in the same boat you are. Around the house it's either sweat pants or basketball/sports type shorts so anything that goes in the pockets pulls the pants down.

Best I can do is throw a LCP in the pocket. It's about the heaviest thing that won't pull my pants down.

This ^ Surprisingly comfortable but it has its annoying qualities, specifically the leg strap thing. I have it and kinda gave up on it but this is a me problem not the product. The holster I got didn't quite work, need a different type, the leg strap is annoying but aftermarket is available and supposedly better. However, I'm not the type to constantly change things out, I don't have patience, interest or desire for that if it doesn't work out the box I loose interest.

There's also this option which is similar
