I like shotguns. Shooting clay targets out in the back yard (when we lived in the country) was loads of fun. We had a cheap hand thrower, but my brother-in-law had a fancy unit that was a lot more fun. You don't have to worry about hurting someone a mile away.
1st i bought was to shoot with my young sons and teach them shotguns. Mossberg 500 20ga. Still have but chopped barrel to 18.75” and painted furniture flat black.
Next was a mossberg 930 18.5” with ghost ring sights.
I need a trap gun for sporting clays.

Remington 870
Mine was also a Mossberg 500 20 guage and is chopped now as well. It is about 20" because it has a vent rib and I had to cut it in front of a post. I also installed a youth stock and a limbsaver "pre-fit" recoil pad that fits the shotgun better than the Marlin 1895 I bought it for. Its my daughter in-law's now and she loves it.

Stevens 311 28” barrels 12ga
Mossberg 500 12 gauge, came with 28 and 24 inch barrels. I promptly hack sawed the 24 incher to 18 inches, did a really bad job. I was in middle school if I recall correctly.

Mossberg 500 Field/Deer combo
Mine was a Remington 870 back in 2005. Had the 28” barrel and rifled slug barrel. Nowadays I’m down to just a Beretta 1301 Tactical.
Mossy 500...it's probably 50 year old.
