Picked this Turkish gun up the other day. For $370 I said what the heck. It takes Smith & Wesson 59-series mags (the included 15 round Mec Gar mag is marked "MG-SW59-15"). Knowing the Turks, they just took an existing design, added a tweak here and there, and marketed it under their own name. Not familiar with S&W's older guns, but some have said this is a Model 5906 clone with a frame-mounted safety. Sound accurate?

Nice looking pistol OP. People can say what they want about a lot of the Turkish made guns, but my experience with them has been 100% positive. Hope she serves you well!
