Is a shot out barrel a risk for baffle strikes?

So if a barrel is getting shot out and starting to keyhole, is that a major threat to the suppressor in terms of baffle strike risk?

Have to think the risk is increased.

If the barrel is key holing rounds why are use it for anything at all?
AQ planned for years and sent their A team to carry out the attacks, and on Flight 93 they were thwarted by a pick-up team made up of United Frequent Fliers. Many people look at 9/11 and wonder how we can stop an enemy like that. I look at FL93 and wonder, "How can we lose?". -- FromMyColdDeadHand

Absolutely a risk for baffle strikes.
