I wouldn't wear a Skullcrusher if you gave me 10 of them free! If you don't want to go with a simple Bump Helmet of any quality then the Crye Nightcap WITH Counterweight is what you seek. My advice is buy a pre owned Bump Lid and Wilcox G22/24 online and rock that in a more stable, comfortable and even protective role!

The Nightcap insert come pre-drilled for both standard 3-hole and the 4-hole ANVIS mounts.

I agree with prepare; the Wilcox L4 shroud is a solid choice. You can also find Norotos Universal Shrouds for fairly cheap now that they've been issued to the Big Army for like 7 years.

Interesting- your came pre-drilled? The little black kydex piece?

I've had to drill every one of mine, haven't bought one in about a year though, maybe they have changed them. Certainly for the better if that's the case.

Mine came pre drilled also, you do have to cut the fabric covering the holes though.

Use a flashlight to locate the holes and then use a soldering iron to push through the fabric.
