I finally purchased a Trijicon RMR for my Gen5 Glock 19 MOS. What is everyone using to mount their optic? Should I go with the Glock mounting plate that comes with the gun or is an aftermarket mounting plate like the C&H Precision Weapons better?

FCD has been discussed at length here I believe, its the best of the best, as is the company.
Sic semper tyrannis.
FCD + 100!!!
I recommend loctite vs vibra.

This explains why you don't want to use the OEM plate and reviews the FCD.

Any plans for FCD to make M&P plates?

The Glock mounting plate sucks. FCD all the way.
Gettin' down innagrass.
Let's Go Brandon!
I have been using the CH plate for about 6k rounds. Works perfectly
I have been using CHWPS mainly but feel the FCD plates are a better design.
Tell my tale to those who ask. Tell it truly; the ill deeds along with the good, and let me be judged accordingly.
I just bought FCD to replace a CHPWS plate that was milled with a slight angle but enough to misalign the RMR. There have been enough recent complaints about CHPWS and their customer service to turn me away. As I've posted here and other places, CHPWS very rapidly outgrew their production and QC capacity and has yet to get it back under control. They need to re-focus on what made them the best choice originally and stop trying to make all the things for all the guns with all the milling. Until that happens, these issues will continue to show.
