I just got back from the range and groups were around 1" using some 7.62x51 ammo and Non Typical 308 hunting ammo. It ran really smoothly in fact I was looking for my brass lol and noticed it was laying on the ground between 5 and 6p.

Yes, it shoots good, I took it out this morning Deer hunting. I plan on shooting a Deer or two with it this season and any coyote or hog that walks in.

716i is performing well this far. Just need to put it on a Buck or Doe and I'll be happy.

My agency issues us 716 patrol rifles (gas). They've been excellent so far.

The Indian Army liked the 716i enough to order around 240,000 of them.

I just bought one and, after still limited use, accuracy has been a bit mediocre. Anyone found a load their rifle really likes?

always start with fgmm and go from there. fgmm is the standard to judge by and seems to do well in most rifles
