How To Debate "Gun Nuts"

My latest vid attempts to educate anti gun types if they actually want to have a rational discussion with the pro gun/pro 2A/pro Liberty folks like those who visit this forum. There's some obvious reverse psych at work there, the title quickly makes it obvious who watched it and who knee jerk responded to the title. What other majors did I miss? I did mistake the 1934 NFA for the GCA of 68.

Exactly, and that vid exposes it. For that 1% that does, now they know how to approach it, for the other 99%, they're exposed as having no interest in a rational fact based discussion.

Having said that, anti gunnners on the whole seem to have zero information about guns and dont want any at all.

Hence the vid. It exposes that reality, and challenges whether the interest in rational fact based discussion exists. Vast majority of the time, as we know, it does not.

I thought this was a pretty good, but a little long, direct way to refute a lot of the gun grabbers BS.

I support the 2A but (insert infringement here) gun owners present more of a danger than do anti-gun nut jobs. They use gun ownership as a badge of legitimacy in support of things like government licensing schemes and background checks which are the basic tools used by government that most all anti-2A schemes flow from.

Instead of debating an anti-gun kook, debate your fellow gun owners who believe government mandatory background check schemes are a good thing. Government imposed licensing schemes is a good thing.Government imposed two-tiered society of prohibited and non-prohibited (yet) persons is a good thing. Generally speaking, the logic will be that you must surrender your liberties to government in order to preserve same. After all, only a 'nut' would suggest the 2A means what is says. 'Common sense' ya know.
