I will buy one.
A Hi Power built with modern technology, I have to buy one.

Looks really good....really good tribute gun with some improvements. These will sell quickly from SA.
But it needs a rail, red dot cut...lol

May just be my screen, but I can't see the locking lug insert in the frame.

As referenced in one of the videos, the Australian 2015 comparative evaluation between the Hi-Power and various other handguns:

I’m a sucker for old school, this one will be on my short list.
OEF / OIR / OFS

Ordered mine today from GT Distributors to be first on the list. $634 plus tax. Just gotta play the waiting game.

I’ve always wanted a Hi-Power/P-35. Browning’s prices kinda got crazy on them towards the end and FN’s were hit or miss on the market. This SA-35 might scratch my Hi-Power itch depending on where the frame and slide are made. My Springfield 1911 bout in the late 90s definitely has an Imbel stamp hidden on the frame.

If it is really an American made gun and has no turkish parts I will have one.
F%#k the turks.

This is fantastic. I always just assumed that you couldn't make a Hi Power in today's world/cost structure.
Be very interested to see if they simplified or changed internals. (a la Sig P210A).
But if it passes the most basic sniff test at the gun shop, I'm in at this price point.
I presume my stash of Hi Power mags will work. Will also be interested to see if the new 15 rounders work in my old Hi Powers.
Only thing that would stop me is Turkish content.
