I am selling one 1903A3 Rifle that was purchased off the rack at the North CMP Store many years ago. Barrel date is 12-43. The buyer could not find the CMP Box or paperwork for this 1901A3 Rifle. He believes it got tossed out when his son and daughter cleaned out part of his basement. He put two stripper clips of 30-06 through this rifle and it has been sitting in his safe ever since. I did not fire it or clean it.
There are some very old scratches on the forearm that appear to be cracks in the pictures. I looked at them and they appear to be very old scratches. The bore is ok and it was counter bored by the CMP.
