Question Centurion AMTAC carbine - which optic would you choose?

Centurion Arms AMTAC carbine. 16” barrel, mid-length gas, SureFire Warcomp muzzle device (I don’t own a suppressor, though), CMR rail, Geissele SSA trigger.

Plan to use as a general purpose, jack-of-all-trades, self-defense carbine.

Was thinking for a slim/light rail like this one has, keeping everything light and going with something lightweight (EOTech EXPS2-0 mebbe) would be advised. My builder pal recommended this, actually.

OTOH with the 16” barrel, a better move might be to go the LPVO route and make the most of barrel performance/accuracy.

Not sure which way to go.

    Thoughts?

I think that gun would be tailor made for one of the lighter LPVOs. Kahles or NX8 on the higher $$ end (depending on what you want to to with the gun; they’re different optics with different roles), Delta Stryker on the cheaper side. Something in the 16-17 ounce range with an efficient mount would be perfect, IMO.

    LPVO.
A true "Gun Guy" (or gal) should have familiarity and a modicum of proficiency with most all firearms platforms.
