Did a detailed cleaning and lubrication of the gun today, BCG, FCG, buffer tube, buffer, buffer spring. Passed a few patches through the barrel and made sure the feed cone was wiped down.
I Applied Militec and mild heat to the BCG contact surfaces and firing pin.
Put 100rds Federal 124gr fmj through the gun. Did an initial rapid dump of (2) 21rd magazines w/o issue. Put another magazine of controlled pairs through it w/o issue. Next magazine was slow fire and at one moment I caught myself riding the trigger which resulted in a FTF/light primer strike, bulged case. I wonder if this might be the root of the problem? The trigger is Aero's single stage offering, recommended for EPC builds. I fed it the remaining rounds w/o issue paying attention to my trigger form.
