    Tip on suppressors

I was running an old AAC 762 can on my FN SPR and it had POP. I also have a Thunderbeast that was set up on a 300WM but the brake was baked on that barrel and will never come off. I sent TB a message asking, how can I convert my TB can to a direct thread can so I could use on other guns.

They suggested I take the brake /mount and can clean both real well and red loctite them and walaa!! you have a DT can.

Good option for when the suppressor doesn't have a direct thread adapter.

Rocksett would be a better option vs loctite.

It was rocksett that recently failed me on a base. I used to use it on everything. No Mas.

    How did it fail?
AQ planned for years and sent their A team to carry out the attacks, and on Flight 93 they were thwarted by a pick-up team made up of United Frequent Fliers. Many people look at 9/11 and wonder how we can stop an enemy like that. I look at FL93 and wonder, "How can we lose?". -- FromMyColdDeadHand

They have converted 2 AAC’s, Gemtech Halo, and jail broke a SWR trident 9 for me.

The base just came loose, and we waisted time ammo reloads...trying to figure out why its shooting two inches low this week, next two high two left. We think over time it goes bad. As in sitting in the bottle on the shelf.

Wouldn't it be just as easy to walk the mount brake and then attach the suppressor?

Loctiting the mount inside the can just seems like it's gonna create maintenance problems.

Yes, Rocksett has a limited shelf life and should be mixed thoroughly before use.

I understand. They are usually a PITA to clean.
