Congrats #22, 23, 24, 25 Alabama, Ohio, Indiana & Georgia Gov signs CCW bill into law

While the some states and the feds move to infringe upon the 2A, Alabama becomes the twenty-second state to pass a constitution carry law. Congratulations to them. Oh yeah, and **** you three stooges on the west coast.

The bill’s sponsor, Rep. Shane Stringer, says permits will still be needed in certain instances.

Stringer released his own statement after the bill’s passage, saying in part, “I am deeply thankful to my colleagues in the Legislature for passing this constitutional carry measure, which allows Alabamians to exercise their fundamental rights without first having to pay a gun tax in the form of permit fees. Those who still wish to purchase a permit for reciprocity with other states or other reasons continue to retain that option under this law.”

Moved from Huntsville back to TN last August...was SO tired of the Sherrifs in a few counties runnin their freakin mouths against Constitutional carry. They did NOT want this passed..a lot of money gone from their coffers now. GOOD. As I told one cop awhile back- If people excercising the Constitutional rights "scares you" you need to find another job. He didnt like that too much. I really cant believe Gov. Ivey signed it.

Theyll stand there, the LE officers..and tell you to your face "theyre absolutely not anti-2A"...then consistently time & again support every piece of anti-gun crap that comes along.
They are LYING S.O.B.s especially in Dekalb County. They are pissed at the revenue loss. Due to the alost unreal influx of people into Madison County..home of NASA & the Redstone Arsenal...Madison County has in the past 4-5 years really been turned bluer than ever thought possible.

    Finally some good news.
It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.

    I'm pro second amendment BUT...

    Nobody needs an Uzi.
Nobody needs a more than 10 rounds.
    Nobody needs a .50
Nobody needs a Saturday Night Special
    Nobody needs a sniper rifle
    Nobody needs an AR-15
    Nobody needs a silencer
    Nobody needs a shorty rifle
Nobody needs a sawed off shotgun
Nobody needs a semi auto rifle
Nobody needs a magnum handgun (cop killer)
Nobody needs a rapid fire handgun (semi auto or Jerry with any kind of handgun)

Sadly I've even met gun owners who espouse some of the above BS.

My default position is to begin at "why shouldn't I have an Uzi?" What are you planning to do where me having an Uzi would be a concern? If somebody is a law abiding citizen, I can't think of a single reason why they shouldn't be able to own a functional military tank assuming they can own such a thing responsibly. They are by definition, not a problem. Which is why we had to create criteria such as "arrested, but not yet convicted" of even misdemeanors such as domestic violence. Something that most cops know is the most common BS charge in this country.

Wanna F up somebodies entire life, just say "He hit me", you really don't have any burden of proof. That person will be arrested, their life will be changed forever unless they happen to be standing in front of a security camera or wearing a go pro which captures the entire alleged event.

You nailed a lot of what Ive heard them say over the years. Always a "BUT" everytime they claim to "not be anti-2A"....rarely do they say "Im PRO 2A". They are crooks & shysters in North AL, and I suspect a lot of other places too. I know stories firsthand of how theyve protected, encouraged and do everything they can to prop up the HUGE population of illegal aliens in Dekalb County alone, and I could go on & on. They are criminal as hell.
