I certainly would not bet against you. Most people have a memory span of about two weeks. Maybe that's even generous, especially of something they didn't want to hear to begin with.

I tend to think that the useful idiots are now being cut lose after their value battling the orange guy is technically over. As expected, now eating their own. Useful idiots don't know they're being used and manipulated and stunned when dumped on their head, thrown under the bus, etc.

Well there is that and then there is what like to call the "Merry Go Round" theory. Some folks love drama and drama has a centrifugal like force, once your famous for the drama, the drama has to escalate and the time line must increase for that guy to remain relevant.
So like a Kindergardener on a crazy Merry Go Round, the centrifugal force of these events pushes the guy further and further out on the edge of the Merry Go Round, until he's screaming for help and hanging on by his finger nails.
So these guys have a shelf life, once the lies are acknowledged and well known throughout the media, what do you do with them?
