High PSA labs. Biopsy negative for cancer

Mid 40s and had three PSA tests 2 months apart. First was ~5, second was ~3, and 3rd was ~5.

    ETA:
I had the biopsy and it sucked about as bad as I expected but I’m glad it’s over. Now I’m waiting for my results.

    ETA2:
    Biopsy negative for cancer.

Do you do anything like bike riding or horseback riding? I’ve heard of long distance bike riders getting elevated PSA. My uncle had a high reading some years back, and he spends a lot of time on a horse. I would get a second opinion, because there could be other reasons for it being elevated.

Thanks for the reply. I don’t do either of those but I do sit on my ass a lot. Lol. I’ve been working remotely 100% since the plandemic started.

After the 2nd test came back at 3, the doc said if the 3rd test came back ~3 or lower he would start looking at prostatitis. It came back 5 so he doesn’t think it’s a fluke.

That could be it. Maybe try a stand up desk and see what happens.

Get the biopsy. It'll be crappy and you can move on, it it'll be fine and you'll know.

Dude as a group we're getting old and it seems like time is whittling us down.

    Get the test.

Why are you even seeing a Urologist or being screened in your 40s?

Yes, this man speaks the truth! Get the biopsy. If it's negative you move one, if it's positive you eliminate the threat.

We had just got standing desks about a year before we got sent home.
It’s always some bitter irony. Lol

We have a high top bar on our countertops I can stand at at least. Getting out of bed on cold mornings is a challenge.
