    37.

Most days I feel about the same as I did 10 years ago, but my joints need a lot more warming up than they used to. If I still feel this way in another 10, I'll be thankful.

How I feel depends on the day.

Sometime's I'm sparring guys half my age and taking it to them, other days just putting on my shoes kicks my ass. Sometime in my mid 40s two things became true.

    1. The joke "I'm gonna feel this in the morning" regarding something I ate or did, stopped being just a joke.

    2. I realized I needed a recovery day. The days of "just work through it" or "just rub dirt on it" no longer applied and genuine injuries (even minor ones) need to be respected so they don't become permanent injuries.

Mid 50s, still very active but now with caution. If I don't train I seem to get more tired, but when I do train I have to make sure I don't burn the candle at both ends.
It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.

    41. Don’t work out much but stay active. I’m 5’8” and stay at about 135-140#.

Still feel okay despite degenerated disk in my back and a little arthritis in my right hand.

I still have a ferocious sex drive that wife doesn’t. That bothers me more than anything.

    The 50's were the best.
A true "Gun Guy" (or gal) should have familiarity and a modicum of proficiency with most all firearms platforms.

I'm 52, but my mom says I'm a handsome young man.
I'm thinking my mom needs glasses or she's a lier.

I turned before my wife and declined to join, she turns and all of a sudden I have an AARP card. She got a ‘two-fer’ And was upset that we had missed out on eight months of AARP discount. I asked her exactly what discounts had we missed out on, but she was at a loss as to what exactly those were.

    1950s?

If we ever have another greet&shoot event, there will be gunfights for the handicap parking and the dinner will be at 4:45 at Olive Garden…

The Second Amendment ACKNOWLEDGES our right to own and bear arms that are in common use that can be used for lawful purposes. The arms can be restricted ONLY if subject to historical analogue from the founding era or is dangerous (unsafe) AND unusual.

    It's that simple.

Upper-mid 50s. Brain acts and thinks I'm still 25. I have enough mileage to be 75 and feel that way some days. Cherish every minute. Time is the most valuable commodity in the universe.

My best friend, the reason I decided to move to NC, died at 39. Exactly 6 months short of his 40th birthday.

I’m trying not to think about it.

My grandfather is 97 right now. So I’m hoping I have a ways yet.
