Brownells 7.62 Bcg retaining pin issue

Just got a brownells nitride bcg and I can’t get the retain pin out? Searched everywhere for a thread on it just really odd. Anybody have this happen before. Brand new BCG wonder if it’s a dud.

Try rotating the pin a bit as you try to remove it. It'll come out. Does the firing pin move freely?
