Sounds like they should send you a complete 2.0 pistol as I don't think they make the 1.0 slide. They may have a few left over though.

Wouldn't that be cool. I just don't know if it's doable with the horrendous Ca. handgun roster.

That’ll be a problem for sure. One of the nerds on Calguns would know, but my guess is that getting a replacement 2.0 is not going to happen.

I have seen some NOS slides on eBay though.

I've seen a slide or two on Ebay. Of course my hope is that Smith will take care of this and has a bit of a store of replacement parts. I would expect that Smith already knows what they can and can not do in Ca. as it relates to replacement guns. I'm not really expecting them to replace the whole gun. If they did...great...but not really expecting it.

Maybe in other ban states, I don't know. 1.0's haven't been in Ca. for years.

I have a low round count 1.0 spare slide. If Smith doesn't do you right, I will make you a good deal. But I'm betting they will upgrade you to a 2.0. Keep us posted please.
