Dr. Carter G. Woodson, “History shows that it does not matter who is in power or what revolutionary forces take over the government, those who have not learned to do for themselves and have to depend solely on others never obtain any more rights or privileges in the end than they had in the beginning.”
My two pennies.
I've owned several different optics and I've broke some and had some fail. EoTech and Aimpoint sent RMA's promptly and repaired/replaced the optics. Primary Arms replaced a red dot for me.
I have yet to break a Holosun or Trijicon anything. Rifle or pistol optics.
I just think Holosun offers the better value, especially with features and innovation.... even though some of their more recent offerings are creeping up in price and knocking on or going over that $400 price mark.
I prefered it over the RMR because of cleaner glass, sharper reticle, and the battery life is still there. Not to mention half the price and being able to switch over to the circle dot is nice for introducing new shooters to a RDS on a handgun.
Edit: I'll also add that it is awesome to be able to change a battery without removing the optic.

Well, new at Shot Show, Holosun introduced a no battery (permanent rechargeable - lifetime guarantee) solar charged titanium dot.
They are custom made for a particular model gun. No plates needed and even match the slide milling to make it look like part of the gun.
Who are they copying now?
That video just pisses me off even more, than I was when I started this thread.
Why is the most innovative red dot manufacturer not an American made and manufactured company?
