I'm curious why you think it might. The optic doesn't require removal, nor do the adjusters need to be touched; you remove the cap and replace the battery. That's all there is to it.

Yeah, no worries. Super simple, definitely no adjustments necessary.
Maybe I'm weird, but I still like to verify zero annually on rifles that I haven't been shooting. Just gives me a sense of reassurance.
