    I know it was coolio to have the one piece of easily affordable KAC on your rifle with the Micro battery cap, I never saw the need to attempt to double an already ludicrous battery life. Then again I change everything yearly (all batteries, all lights optics accessories). Seems like check insurance for <$20 in batteries, then I use the 123s for handheld flashlights throughout the year to burn them up.

    The question has already been answered, but ditto - no need to re-zero an Aimpoint when changing the battery.
