    Laptop bag/Briefcase for AR-15 Pistol?

    Hola,
There are about a million results for a web search for this topic but I really couldn't find any feedback for anyone transporting an AR-15 pistol (in its component halves) in a soft side brief case or laptop bag. Does anyone regularly haul around a truck/trunk gun like this?

I don't know if I'd say I haul it regularly, but I use a Vertx Gamut Plus for my 10.3 and 11.5 guns with Law Tactical folders. No need to separate the two halves. I can't speak to the legality of it elsewhere, but I can carry it loaded in the backpack under my concealed carry license.

I went with a hard side briefcase from Harbor Freight. Works great, and doesn't scream "rifle!" at all.

It may not scream 'rifle' but I'd worry that it may scream 'valuable', which you don't want as well. A backpack/gym bag - something common that isn't used to carry something valuable (like a laptop) would make it less likely to attract the wrong attention.

Red Rock's Operations Duffel will take a folded 10.3"... the worry is is it "plain duffel" enough; I was looking at it to use the outside pouches to keep my bewildering array of external hard drives permanently assembled and wired together while still being mobile.

    Laptop bag/Briefcase for AR-15 Pistol?

I have an eberlstock back that can fit a 11.5” collapsed and laptop along with mags and clothes. It’s big, but that’s to be expected. It does not scream gun either.
