    I want to start reloading...

    Hey guys,
I just bought a Barrett M99 in 50 BMG. I realize the savings when reloading, but I'm wondering if this is a bad caliber to start out with.
I see RCBS sells a kit for reloading 50 BMG for about $479.
Any advice about equipment and things I need would help.
I'll probably want to use match ammo like Hornady 750 grain A-Max rounds.

In my opinion (and thats all it is) who really cares where you start as long as you take your time are careful. And the cost of Factory 50 BMG is absurd, there seems to be a decent savings when you roll your own. Just keep in mind I am new to reloading and all I reload (as of now) is .45 and 223/556.

    Well

There are other presses on the market but not for 50BMG I think Hornady might make one. Check out sinclair int

If you are not reloder now the best advice I can give you is READ READ READ everything you can get your hands on.

Allways start will the MIN recomended loads and work up.

You will most definatley save yourself money doing your on loads. Have fun but be safe.

The Amax is an awsome bullet I shoot the 168g in my M1A.
