Looks nice but priced too high IMO. Should be under $1k.
Also, the illumination flashes when the scope isn’t perfectly level? That sounds stupid for a 1x optic.

I will absolutely be getting this optic. I ran the Leupold 1-6x24 "Multigun" for a long time before the ex wife ran me 120K in debt just before she bailed for her current happily ever after and I was literally selling anything that wasn't bolted down. Absolutely loved that optic and the reticle. I'm a big Leupold fan. Using their VX6HD 4-24 Impact 29 on my 260 Rem bolt gun.
Only thing I wish it was is 1-8 for the price range but thats the same price as what the original non-Mark 6 1-6's were anyways.
I'm a bit frustrated with how Leupold stratifies and markets their products.
Maybe I'm just stupid, but I find their product line-up incredibly unclear and down right confusing. I love their glass and scopes, but over the past several years have confused their product line-up in my opinion.
Yes.
This scope looks nearly identical to the VX6 1-6x multigun, which was around $1000 street price just a few months ago. No way I am paying $1499 for this. The Vortex Razor 1-6x is now below 1k with its obsolescence.
Leupold prices any vaguely LE/mil scope in the stratosphere, intending to sell only to .gov at inflated prices and individuals with certain credentials at their mil/LE discount. Anyone else can pound sand.

Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles."
