    It’s probably fine as I have no reason to doubt you. I just don’t care for the looks and that’s why I buy guns like that for nostalgia. I carry Glocks to each his own.

    The mkIII style safety on the new FN HP still sucks. I think the SA 35 safety lever is better.

    Since it’s clearly not made as a collector oriented model, why don’t they put a rail on it so a guy can mount a light?

    It’s probably just fine as a pistol to shoot and use. Most likely better than an actual Hi-Power.

    If Springfield Armory pulls there heads out of there asses and fixes there SA35, there'd be no issue here.

    The Springfield is the best option as far as I can see it. What did I miss? What do they need to fix?

    Reliability issues in regards to extraction problems, the last I heard.

    Oh, damn. I hope they get that smoothed out. They seemed to have addressed the most talked about issue and left the rest fairly true.
