Only two of these made. I know who has the other one, I don't think he's selling his, yet.

Riots are like sports, it's better to watch it on TV at home.

Wow. Def a Holy Grail of 1911s. Honestly, the opening bid is really low.

There's still 8 days left and people aren't going to bid now only to be outbid by somebody else later. It will be interesting to watch in 8 days. I'd say it will go over $5K. I think it would go higher had it been a series 70.

Might of been one of the few Vickers Customs in 9MM as Larry had mostly quit building 1911s before the 9MM became more popular in 1911s'.

I took a pistol class with him not long after Wilson started building 9mm 1911s. During breaks and after class he let me shoot it, maybe 100, 150 rounds. To me it was like butter, and I noticed he shot it in other classes later on. I don't know if that was before or after he stopped custom building his 1911s. His 1911 builders/maintainers class was one of the best classes I ever took.

I too took a 1911 Build Class in 2013. It was a great class and unlike other classes I took you didn't use a mill or lathe to complete your pistols. A belt sander and a table top drill press in addition to hand tools from Brownells was all you needed. Plus Larry told great stories during the class.
