    AAC is back!

AAC is back! But what does that mean?

They posted on instragram they were back and going to start producing some lame hunting suppressor again first.

    Who owns them?

Will they fix old product? Honor warranty?

Make old legacy items likeSDN-6 again?

    What do you know?

I know when they were in business they almost never had most of their products in stock, were forever back ordered and mostly known for exaggerating their db levels by recording them in the most favorable conditions.

I waited two years trying to get a couple suppressors for myself and almost three years for a suppressor a customer wanted, never ever got them and canceled the orders. Seemed like they had some decent ideas in the beginning and probably good suppressors, but I was never able to find out.

I know that the 4 AAC cans I have (two Mini4s, SDN-6, TI-RANT 45M) were in stock every time I went to Silencer Shop to get one.

They work great and my Mini4s have virtually no POI shift when added to my rifles. The Mini4 is my go to for my 12.5 SBRs. Great combo. When AAC gets back up and going I plan to get two more.

Their warranty service was top notch and super fast turn around times. Best turnaround time was 13 days and longest was 26. I would send them in to get the ratchet spring replaced and they would clean it and recoat it also.

Last time I sent something in to them was in January of 2020 and even with all of the stuff going on with Freedom Group they got my can back to me in 26 days.

I would like to see a 7.62 Mini can. That would be great.
In no way do I make any money from anyone related to the firearms industry.

YES! AAC was a f#$King joke. But they were the only alternative to Gemtech's garbage. I hated their guts. Always Effing off an dicking around on the internet instead of building customers' cans. I was a wait victim too.

(My stamp came back before my can showed up... that's how retarded they were.)

I have a Mini and a SDN6. Finally got the call yesterday and both are going off to Ecco to get threaded for Plan B's next week.

I had one of my Mini4s and my SDN6 converted to a KeyMo adapter by them. Great work. I can't say enough good things about Ecco.

I still like the 51T mounts but needed the ratchet fixed last year.

I was never a hater of the 51T but I would love to consolidate some of my mounts. My mini always locks up tight. My SDN6 always is a little loose but has been relegated to a 300 blackout single shot. They both have been back for new latches a few times. I have an Omega that has a plan B now and the size along with a hanson Brothers endcap makes it a lightweight functional can (6.5" and 13oz). It would be nice to move my Mini around as I love that can.

The cherry bomb is a dumpster fire when it comes to flash and they dont make a flash hider other than for the SR25 (totally bazar coming from the guy that made one of the best flash hiders of all time) but the aftermarkets from Readen and Liberty are quality.

LOL. When did Gemtech become garbage? I'm a big fan of Dater designs. Until the B&T came along you couldn't find better suppressors for the MP5 than the Raptor II except for Knights. Ditto the Mossad for the Uzi. Love the way that HALO runs on all my ARs, my SIG 551 and my HK 93.

I know AAC made some good cans, people I respect liked them. I was just never able to actually get my hands on the ones I wanted.
